The Villa is part of a Farm set at 315 m above sea level, covering an area of about 7.5 hectares. The farm's main production comes from the 650 olive trees (they produce an outstanding extra virgin oil) and 2000 sq m of vineyard (which produces a fresh-tasting table wine). During the various production periods, the guests are welcomed to partecipate at the olive or grapes harvest.
The farm is an ideal place for nature lovers. Walking among the 5 hectares of fenced-in land, which alternates between woodlands and open areas, you'll find typical plants of the Apennine maquis vegetation: strawberry trees, service trees, chestnuts, oaks and medicinal herbs such as calamint, thyme, oregano, fennel, and others. You'll also discover increasingly rare wildlife: fireflies on early summer evenings, nightingales, owls, pheasants. It is also possible to come across porcupines, badgers, squirrels, dormice, and buzzards over head.
The Villa is the result of carefull restoration in a total of 130mq. where we find 3 double rooms with 3 bathrooms with showers, one sitting room with delicious sitting corner furnished with 2 comfortable sofa, TV Sat, and kitchen with dining space.
A terraced garden furnished with table, chairs and sunumbrella, and a pool in the olive grove with sunbeds, and armchairs with a panoramic view on the Valdinievole.

Not farm from the Villa, we can find the Padule di Fucecchio, 1800 hectares of marshland; the largest in Italy. This is a natural reserve which can be discovered by bicycle or on foot .
For your own relaxation and well being, Grotta Giusti Thermal Centre is the obvious choice, with excellent service for a wide selection of therapies, from mud baths, to the thermal 35 degree pool with underwater Jacuzzi. It also sports a Lounge Bar where all sorts of herbal teas are to be discovered as well as an excellent selection of national wines. |
