The long Versilia coastline is protected by hills and offers some very interesting towns, such as Pietrasanta a centre for sculpture and marble works.

At Bagni di Lucca you can visit the ancient spa, or spend the day trekking with a guide at the Orrido di Botri reserve. At Barga visit the VI century castle, the XI and XVI century Cathedral with wonderful painting and sculptures.

We also suggest a day to the Cinque Terre in Liguria, 100km away.
