Tuscany Farmhouse in Maremma
|
|
 |
To describe this wonderful
farm estate, you need a lot of pages, I hope however,
to be able to express in a few words it's beauty and atmosphere.
This unique farm estate is spread over 450 hectares of land
along the coast of the Tirrenean Sea in Maremma. Part
of it is typical maditerrean vegetation of fragant herbs which
are to be found in this area.
|
 |
65 hectares are cultivated
with vines which produce D.O.C.G. red and white wines.
Since 1800 the estate has belonged to a noble family from
Florence, even today they continue to keep the estate, improve
the vines and maintain the various agricultural cultures.

The house is in a small village
with a central square and small church. The exterior
of the farmhouse and the square's house is in it's original
state, inside they have been restored. From the old doors, the
floors, to the antique family furniture, everything gives
the impression of a farm from that period. |
 |
The whole village is surrounded
by luxurious vegetation, typical of this area. It's excellent
position allows you to reach the beautiful sea at Talamone
in just a few minutes, also the Argentario Peninsular,
the Island of Giglio and the natural reserve "Parco dell'Uccellina",
as well as archeological sites. |
 |
The farm produces many products, such as:
vegetables, grains, fruit, sheep milk's cheese, honey, extra
virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and prestigious wines.
There is a little shop inside the property where you can
buy the farm products on a daily basis.
There is also a wine cellar where you can taste the
wines.
